We currently have the following job vacancy:

Workshop Engineer

FULL TIME POSITION

W.Hall Limited is one of Northern Ireland’s leading providers of materials handling equipment. Due to continuing expansion we require a service engineer, based at our workshop in Mallusk.

The successful candidate will report to the workshop manager and will be responsible for the repair, preparation and maintenance of our extensive rental fleet, plus the preparation of stock equipment for sale.

We are looking for a self motivated engaging person who wants to join an ambitious company.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• An experienced forklift / plant / commercial vehicle engineer . Experience with materials handling equipment would be an advantage.

• Suitable qualification/ training certificates required.

• A practical working knowledge of either airport ground support equipment, material handling equipment, commercial vehicles or similar.

• Full clean driving licence.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Experience in and knowledge of:

• Hydraulics Systems

• Electrical System

• Mechanical Systems (Engines, Transmissions, Braking etc)

• An ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing

• An ability to undertake tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and listening skills

• Excellent organisational skills
